Brenda founded Charlemagne’s Salon in Luton in 1990, building it into one of the largest Afro salons across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. Today, the salon attracts clients from across the South East and beyond, drawn by a reputation for technical excellence, transformational services and deep expertise in textured hair.
For over 35 years, Brenda has worked across every hair type. European, Asian and Afro-Caribbean textures sit side by side in her chairs. That diversity shaped her philosophy as a stylist and educator.

Ongoing education
Continuous education sits at the centre of the salon culture. Brenda has worked internationally as a platform artist and educator, delivering training programmes, demonstrations and seminars across Europe. Sharing practical knowledge with stylists remains one of her greatest passions.
Brenda’s relationship with Fabriq began in 2016 when the brand was known as KeraStraight. The performance quickly stood out.
